During my time at Equinox, I had a radical shift in how I thought about fitness:

Movement Patterns are far superior to Specific Exercises.

This is true due to many reasons (preventing issues caused by muscle isolation, allowing you unlimited creativity in your fitness journey, etc.), but most people are still stuck in the "these specific exercises 'work' these muscles—that's all I need to know" mindset.

The amount of time-wasting that comes with this is astonishing.

I believe that you can be better than them.

I believe that you can think bigger.
